balls, faces, and apples

emergency room visit……BALL-ogne

dental x-rays…..BALL-derdash

avoiding getting a BALL in the face….priceless (or it would have been)

seriously.  he gets hit in the face sliding into 2nd from the center fielder’s throw.  and the important thing is that he was safe.  i swear.  oh and lest i forget, the runner scored too.  honestly.  men.  i don’t get it.  guess what he did last night?  uh huh.  played in a tournament.  and today?  more tournament. and because there is just never enough ball time, throw in a round of hitting little balls into holes before the tournament.  i repeat….i don’t get it.

onto a couple faces that won’t make your knees hurt:

don’t you just wanna eat him up!?!  liam was helping me get a couple quilts ready for the QUILTS AND VINES QUILT SHOW!  which is today and you’re going right?!?!  i am!  and on that note, i best get started putting on my face and other accessories-like clothing and shoes!

oh WAIT!  i have a couple other pix to show too:

we dipped oreo cookies in candy melts, used a pretzel for the stem and green candy melts for a leaf.  carin made a cute bag tag and the boys delivered these to their new preschool teachers (school starts in about 3 weeks).  some might say we are trying to bribe the teachers…… go ahead and say it. it might be true.  🙂

ps….doesn’t that ruffle plate look fantastic?!?!?!

ok, i seriously gotta move it here!  there are quilts to drool over being hung on grape vines right now!  as i type!  did i mention there was wine too?………

You and Carin are just too, too much! Love the apples … and those boys are so much alike (I’m sure you do not agree) that if you don’t tell me who the picture is, I can’t even guess. I guess I don’t feel quite so bad for Scott … he was having a really good time!

I thought my husband was a pain with his season tickets. He does not play or get in the line of being hit. He
just drives 50 miles home after the game, sleeps for 4.5 hours, gets up for work and drives 50 miles to work the next day. He never shows that stamina when its time for yard work.
