granny square

24 May

but with FABRIC!  my friend karen has had a hankering to make a crochet granny square blanket for a year or so.  she just hasn’t gotten around to choosing the yarns.

but LOOK!  she made one with fabric!

the block is much more vibrant that it looks.  i think that gold carpet distorted the pictures.

aren’t those fabrics great?

i think the whole block measures something like 14 inches. she will probably make 12 of them and set it 3×4.  that’s a lot of granny squares!!

I love your friend karen – she is so talented and has such a good eye for fabric. What pattern is she using? Hope you are all doing well – miss you!
