today was a good day!

10 Feb

we found a new pbs program with real animals that has ian just entranced.

ian1 the program comes on at 9:30. this shot is actually AFTER the first session of picking up the toys and the first “fort” of the day using couch cushions (shhhh don’t tell mom and dad)  . yeah, i know, it’s time to pick up again. note the “helmet” (upside down bucket) and tv chair (peddle john deere tractor).

then we made valentines. we used sparkley construction paper, colors, monkey, hearts, and john deere stickers, madagascar cards and winnie the pooh envelopes. there were some leftover john deere stickers so i told ian he could put them on his tractor while i whipped lunch together.

kaiden2 kaiden yeah, the stickers didn’t make it to the tractor.

and you can’t tell on the photos but these were taken at almost the same time:

ahhhh. i love nap time.

I think I am married to not-Scott’s evil twin. Gifts presented in hardware store bags and “don’t mention me on your blog”. Who knew there were two of them in the world???
