another quiz and a thumpless thursday

3 Apr

GINA shared this “what kind of thinker” quiz on her blog. i am curious how the answers to seemingly simple questions can lead someone to some definative character traits in you. not that i think they are all spot on. i find the process curious. does this sounds like me?

Your Thinking is Abstract and Random

You are flexible, adaptable, and creative.
There’s many ways that you can learn – and you’re up for any of them.
You relate well to other people, and you do well working in groups.
You can help people communicate together and work with each other’s strengths.
You don’t work well with people who are competitive or adversarial.
You prefer to work toward a common goal… not toward conflicting goals.
so i don’t think i have anything to thump about. seriously. it’s been kinda boring around here. we’re just in a holding pattern until baby comes. i had a dream that it was a girl. i don’t have dreams that foretell the future so i’m not putting a lot of stock in it. but gosh, have you seen the cute little girl baby clothes out there? i have. so far i’ve resisted buying any. but hey, wouldn’t it be nice for ian to have a little brother this close in age too? they’d but buds forever….well what a pipe dream that is. they’d probably fight like cats and dogs and eventually become buds forever. hmmmm boy or girl….doesn’t matter, just get here already! everytime the phone rings, i’m hoping it’s “the call”. so far not.
and a happy birthday shout out to my sister KRIS ……course technically she celebrated yesterday since she across the pond but here in SD today’s her day.
