ok i’m going scream

through this posting as i have one child sleeping and one briefly entertaining himself in the saucer.

 

yesterday we actually took a FIELD TRIP!!!  yes, i braved the big scary world ALONE with 2 babies.  it was quite an adventure getting everyone and the diaper bag and the mamoo and the stroller loaded up!  yikes.  anyway we did a little visiting……..great grandparents got a little treat  and then since momma is almost done with the retail job, we thot we’d surprise her (when she starts the office job we won’t be able to pop in for kisses like we have done in the past).

 

so my “thumper” is something that just made me smile.  i was headed out of the mall hoping i would manage to manueuver this double stroller which is about 6 foot long through a set of double doors.  there was a nice looking young man (teenager)standing near the exit yammering on his cell phone.  as i reached for the door and started to pull the stroller through the opening, he said to his caller……hang on a second.  and then offered to help me through the doors.  how nice was that?  nothing earth shattering, but shows that nice still exists.  so that is my late thurs. thumper. 

 

we’ve had 2 whole days of no tears (either from the baby or the nana)!  yea!  i think we turned a corner!

 

after nap time we are headed out to check out the local library.  not sure if this is a good idea or not.  ian still like the sound of paper ripping.  yikes.  but maybe we’ll find out if they have a story hour or something like that. 

 

i know, i’m getting cocky (taking another field trip so soon) after my successes from yesterday.  i’ll let you know if i fall on my face!
