except when it’s all bills or amazing opportunities for credit cards. this is exactly the kind of mail i love to get:
yes indeed these beautiful hand dyes are from judy. i had the privilege of meeting judy a while back when she traveled from NC to SD to take a workshop. i didn’t happen to be in the workshop that she was but we managed to take a few hours and go to supper. i don’t even remember where we went or what we ate. i just remember that we yakked it up and the evening went way too fast. judy (silly girl) offered a swap out on the eckart tolle book. you would not believe how fast i jumped on that deal! i feel just a teensy bit guilty as i am loving these fabrics. So far i’ve just been petting and licking them. and looking for just the right pattern to put them in. judy does these for sale, so if you’re in the market, you can contact her via her blog where she shares her journey as an artist. for judy click HERE
and just today, i received this postcard from gayle.

i don’t even remember whining about the decision that i made not to participate in a postcard exchange this time due to my schedule being overloaded already. but maybe i did?!?! or maybe she a “whineing reader”. the theme for the exchange was your birthstone. gayle’s is aquamarine. the picture truly doesn’t due the card justice. it’s so very sparkley. i just love it. gayle is also an amazing artist. she is currently the quilter in the spotlight on MQR i don’t think you have to be a member to see it and you get to see a great sampling of gayles work. if you wanna know more gayles blog is GAYLE
